Since moving back to Brussels in 2019, I have freelanced for art galleries, independent publishing houses and contemporary artists, on top of working on my personal projects. With a background in art and design, I photograph, write, design, and edit. In 2023, I launched Eclair Publishing, a publishing house focused on art catalogs.
For galleries, I travel to artists’ studios and produce press releases (specializing in English writing). I help set up exhibitions and fair booths. I design websites, portfolios and publications. Composing mailings, social media campaigns and exhibition content, I develop communications with the public and press. I have five years of experience in the art gallery world; I have closely assisted several galleries to launch.
For publishing houses, I work on communications content (newsletters, catalogs, adverts, and video trailers). I am an editorial graphic designer: operating on technical layout and imagery, but also the conception of new collections. Moreover, I have experience working on referencing and distributions. I use InDesign and Photoshop expertly and can thus help out on all levels of production.
I began Eclair Publishing in order to produce my own editions and to present the works of artists that I know and admire. The two first collections are By (art catalogs) and Chez (photography series celebrating the ateliers and homes of artists). Eclair Publishing books are locally printed, each publication is both a qualitative support and an elegant object. For years now, I have taken courses in book binding and am passionate about artisanal and handmade techniques.
I am an artist, I have exhibited analog photography in several exhibitions around Brussels. I am currently developing my own business of content creation and storytelling. With photography, writing and design, I produce printed or digital material in order to communicate to the public the story and essence of my clients' businesses. Highlighting beauty or finding original details, my vision helps to bring about a unique narrative and to engage viewers from an artistic perspective.
